Krzysztof Topolski + Tomasz Duda duo are in Stockholm on an invitation from EMS for a residency, supported by the Polish Cultural Institute in Stockholm.
The duo makes electroacoustic improv with sax, drums & electronics.

Tomasz Duda
Graduated from the State Primary School of Music in Debica, the State Secondary School of Music in Rzeszow and the Academy of Music in Krakow where he studied the saxophone with Professor Andrzej Rzymkowski.
Participated in workshops led by Bruno Chevillon (2004), workshops and sessions of improvised music at the Conservatoire National de Région de Strasbourg (2004), a seminar and a master class led by Professor Günter Priesner of the Hochschule für Musik Nürnberg-Augsburg (2002), the International Courses of Electronic Music Accanthes/IRCAM in Krakow (2000) as a scholarship holder of the French Government and the Muzyka Centrum Art Society, International Jazz Workshops in Gdansk (1999), International Jazz Workshops in Pulawy (1993) and in numerous Jazz Workshops in Brzozow.
Has worked with Bruno Chevillon, Marek Chołoniewski, Tadeusz Sudnik, Fréderic Blondy, Tomasz Stańko, Rafał Mazur, Michał Górczyński, Ireneusz Socha, Tworzywo sztuczne, Bassisters Orchestra, m.bunio.s, Fisz, Raphael Rogiński, Paweł Szamburski, Patryk Zakrocki, Kasia Nosowska, Smolik, Tomasz Gwinciński, Krzysztof Knittel.
Member of Baaba, Pink Freud, Saksofort, Mitch and Mitch, Tołhaje, Ania Dąbrowska, Kasia Nosowska.

Krzysztof Topolski aka Arszyn
Electroacoustic improviser, author of soundart projects, drummer. He received scholarships from Museums Quartier in Vienna and from The Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. In 2009, together with Mariusz Waras, he created the installation Fabryka (Factory) in CSW “Znaki Czasu” (Signs of Time) in Toruń and also presented the piece Folk Science as a part of Pandemonium project in AC Institute [Direct Chapel] in New York.
Key concepts in his work are noise and soundscape. He explores the area of percussion and live electronic, improvised and electroacoustic music. He composes with the use of the computer, creates interactive and sound installations, organizes presentations and lectures on contemporary music and sound art and also runs workshops.
