Det resande improvisationsmusikfestivalkollektivet Multiversal, som bokstavligen uppstått i Berlins underground, involverar bland de mest energiska och egenartade unga musikerna i Europa. De har nyligen genomfört flera hyperintensiva festivaler i Berlin och ger sig nu ut på vägarna i en turné till Köpenhamn, Malmö, Göteborg och Stockholm. Senare fortsätter de till Neapel och Oslo.
"Multiversal is a network, consisting of musicians, artists, performers and spaces around the globe.
It has its roots founded back in 2011, as guerrilla actions in Berlin neighborhoods and evolved into an irregular event series on music venues, galleries, cellars, apartments and streets… In 2014 these evolved into a series of Multiversal Festivals.
The aim is to discover independent musicians, artists, performers and spaces, concentrating on sound and improvisation, creating platforms and occasions that these can meet, collaborate and create/elaborate new ideas and projects.
The curatorial approach focuses on non-commercial and less-visible realities (underground, D.I.Y.) and has the objective to facilitate encounters, considering the parallelisms, existing or non(yet)existing common and uncommon aspects of the projects, people and spaces involved."
